How To Apply
The Dr. Jacob Boakye Scholarship honours the legacy of Dr. Jacob Boakye by empowering students of Ghanaian heritage to achieve their academic goals.
There are two scholarships of $3,000 each are available to help recipients ease the financial burdens associated with higher education.
This scholarship aims to support students of Ghanaian descent who are Canadian citizens in their pursuit of higher education, contributing to their academic success and future aspirations.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Dr. Jacob Boakye Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Ghanaian Heritage
Must be Ghanaian or of Ghanaian descent.
Citizenship
Must be a Canadian citizen.
Educational Enrollment

Must be currently enrolled or accepted into a post-secondary college or university.

Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Age Range
Must be between the ages of 18-40.

Applicants are required to submit a video essay no longer than 2 minutes addressing the following:
